Title: Happy Holidays!!
Welcome to the Christmas Museum. Our first work, the oldest of all, dates back to the last decade. At that time, a committee of art experts made the risky decision to hire an unknown «pintamonas» (painter of little skill) to creatively capture the spirit of Christmas. Here is the result: A sober, simple, sincere, direct, authentic work. Straight to the heart.

Title: Merry Christmas
The following work, created digitally with the new Photoshop technique, pixel by pixel, the self-proclaimed artist (previously «pintamonas») wanted to play intelligently with a warm and cold color palette, with blues and reds mainly. It is the cold of winter in contrast to the warmth of Christmas smiles and hugs.

Title: And a happy new year
New Christmas. New work. The now renowned artist, settled in his status as a star, did not want to complicate his life, replicating without fear or trembling the previous year's work, but this time working with a much more stylized style, effusively using passion red, true protagonist of the Christmas holidays, among other things.

Title: Trees at Christmas
Our beloved artist, eager for new adventures and creative solutions, decided to embark on an adventure, entering the unknown three-dimensional world. One day, sailing through a sea of infinite polygons, he came to a deep «low poly» fir forest. Without a second thought, he quickly unsheathed his keyboard, mercilessly pressed Ctrl+C, and finished the job by pressing Ctrl+V. And he saw that it was good, pretty and cheap. And fast.

Title: Come home for Christmas
Something was missing. But he didn't know what. His first works were based on two dimensions. Then he ventured to insert a third dimension. But the artist was dissatisfied. It had to be something else. Something really special. And finally he found it unexpectedly, on a cold December afternoon, while he was absorbed in watching an exciting and decisive episode of the Doraemon cartoon series. Time! What his work needed was just that, time. Adding one image after another, thus creating the illusion of movement. He got to work, and to the three dimensions he added the desired and found time factor. Now his work finally had a life of its own. Yes, just like Doraemon, the cosmic cat.

Title: We share the joy
Seduced by the discovery of the previous year, the artist decided to roll up his sleeves, take a breath, and plunge into an immense abyss of frames and more frames. He decided to go one step further, adding a beating heart to his work. To do this he created a small but epic story of no more than 40 seconds. A milestone in the history of contemporary art. His pulse did not tremble when he began to plan: If a second had 24 frames, 40 seconds would be... 960 frames! With great bravery and courage he brought this brilliant work to completion, again in three dimensions, with a beautiful story about joy and a soundtrack of unparalleled beauty. Sublime!

Title: At your side
And he couldn't resist it. At Christmas 2017, the artist once again repeated the formula that he had enjoyed so much the previous year. But this time with a much more elaborate story, with more polygons, more characters, more music, more sound effects, and more frames: 2088 frames in total!

Title: Light in the darkness
Due to a series of misfortunes, the year 2018 became a really hard year for the entire artists' guild. Time stopped for them, the stories froze, and the music fell silent. All this turbulence is masterfully captured in this work that silently screams, with an overwhelming intimacy, an indisputable symbol of the victory of light over darkness.

Title: Precious Stone
But the artists emerged victorious from that setback. And they became stronger. They decided to join forces and work together to create a pharaonic work, something never seen before. In a matter of days, they created a gripping 5,856-frame story, filled with unimaginable detail and wonder. It was hard, meticulous and artisanal work. For example, the great mosaic of the Sacred Family, which was created by hand, piece by piece; a total of 3,531 pebbles were used, placed one by one, with all the love in the world.

Title: Christmas is a gift
We disembark in a new decade. It was a round year, full of desires and projects... that were cut short by a sudden and relentless global pandemic. Death began to knock on many doors. Many artists died. But they did not let themselves be defeated. They decided to bring out their best weapons. Their ability to create. Their talent for observing. Instead of death, they bravely decided to set their sights on Life. They created a manifesto that toured the five continents, declaring that life was a true gift. A gift that had to be taken advantage of today, here and now.

Title: IDI Eikon is Christmas
The pandemic imposed forced distances. It left a deep void in people's hearts. How can we tear down these walls, how can we heal these wounds through a simple work of art? The idea, as almost always, came in an unexpected way. Our artist, overwhelmed by endless hours of boredom and loneliness, played Tomb Raider wildly. The game was full of challenges, where you had to interact with the environment... Interact? That was! He would create a three-dimensional work with which he could interact. As simple as that. And so he did. Here you have it.

Title: Putting the star
Due to multiple commissions from all corners of the planet, the artist had to put on the brakes and return to the path of simplicity and immediateness. In this work he went straight to the point. A polygon here, a three-dimensional human model there, and a bit of isometric perspective to finish. No sooner said than done.

Title: Christmas museum
12 years after that first meeting, the committee of art experts met again, with a very clear objective: Create the coolest Christmas card of all time, the greatest work ever dreamed of, something that would remain forever engraved in people's memories. After many deep deliberations, they finally decided that the best option was to build a museum, the Christmas Museum, a place where it always would be Christmas. It would always be open to the public for free, and where people could see again and again all the Christmas works of art that had been created since the beginning of time. Of course, the committee invited their beloved «pintamonas», who was in charge of creating the inaugural video, inspired (thanks to an unexpected idea) by the final scene of the movie Titanic (we won't go into details).
Come in. See. Enjoy. Smile. It's Christmas!
